1. Talk about the areas that need improvement in what you have already trained him/her in.
2. Teach him/her again how the entrance is handled either with key box, garage code or key and alarm for each house.
3. Let his/her read the job notes and let him/her tell you if she understands the instructions that are on the job notes of the areas to be cleaned in each house or any other notes. Ask him/her if he/she has any questions about the notes.
4. Explain and show the employee each of the cleaning products and what they are used for. Be sure to point out what is NOT used in certain areas such as: NO pumice stone in the shower, NO sponge in appliances, etc.

6. Teach him/her to check his/her own work in each area.
7. Talk to him/her about the difference between new homes and recurring homes. Give him/her techniques on how to clean heavily soiled areas better. Make sure he/she understands the difference.
8. Explain to him/her what is cleaned in vacant homes and about extra services. Make sure he/she understands the difference.
9. Give him/her tips on how to give good customer service.
10. Explain what to do when the client asks you to clean areas that we do NOT clean. Example: Do not climb on very high ladders, do not move refrigerators, do not fold clothes, etc.
11. ASK QUESTIONS! ---Make sure he/she understands the rules and you have already told him/her about how job notes work.
12. If there is a quicker way to clean the area you are cleaning, show it to him/her. Give him/her tips on how to clean each area, without affecting the quality.
13. Teach him/her how to communicate with the office from day one! Example: let him/her know when they are arriving to a home early or late.
14. Remind him/her to read the cleaning manual in the morning and in the afternoon, read about what they are going to clean this day and the next day.
15. Teach him/her to make sure everything is left in its place, for example, lights off, doors and blinds left as they were.
